A Tranquil Retreat with Artistic Flair

With its breathtaking view of the surrounding greenery, The Hill Boutique offers a tranquil escape from the bustling city. The design team, led by Jung-Yuan Hou, aimed to create a residence that not only provides a peaceful atmosphere but also reflects the client's passion for art and fashion.

One of the standout features of The Hill Boutique is its emphasis on transparency. The design incorporates large windows and open spaces to create a seamless connection between the interior and the natural environment outside. This not only allows for stunning views but also enhances ventilation and natural lighting throughout the residence.

To bring a touch of artistic expression to the space, the design team utilized unique materials and techniques. The back wall behind the sofa, for example, is assembled using waterproof, scratchproof, and environmentally friendly system boarding materials. A woven carpet on the wall adds a distinctive artistic element to the elevation.

The realization of The Hill Boutique involved a combination of custom-made metal work, system boarding materials, masonry materials, titanium-tinted metal, manmade leather, wallpaper, spray-paint, fabric, and figure-shaped mosaic flooring tiles. These carefully selected materials contribute to the overall aesthetic and functionality of the design.

With a focus on optimizing space usage and functionality, the interior area of The Hill Boutique was carefully planned. The original four-room layout was modified to create three rooms, with the smallest bedroom and the master bedroom enlarged to include a sleeping area, walk-in closet, and bathroom for the master suite.

Throughout the design process, the team faced the challenge of consolidating fragmented spatiality into a cohesive and visually appealing living space. However, through meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to creating a dwelling that combines functionality and visual quality, they successfully overcame these challenges.

The Hill Boutique is not only a beautiful residence but also a testament to the power of design to enhance our daily lives. By incorporating art, fashion, and a deep connection to the natural environment, Jung-Yuan Hou has created a truly unique and inspiring living space.
